About Ann’s Scratchboard Workshops:<\/em><\/strong>
\nA one day workshop focusing on scratchboard techniques. Students learn the basic techniques for working on scratchboard, a unique and surprisingly forgiving surface. Ann’s favorite subjects are animals, but students will create a drawing of a subject of their choice.<\/p>\n

Ann is a Master member (MSA) of the\u00a0International Society of Scratchboard Artists\u00a0<\/a>(ISSA). Her work has been accepted into all of the annual ISSA juried exhibitions to date and she was one of the featured presenters at the 2012 \u2013 2014 and 2018 \u2013 2019 workshops. Ann also taught a special workshop in conjunction with the 2023 Exhibition at the\u00a0Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum<\/a>.
\nISSA Awards: in the Open Division: \u2018Sleeping Patterns<\/a>\u2018 received an\u00a0Award of Excellence<\/em>\u00a0at the 2013 Exhibition, \u2018Cathy\u2019s Burrito Bouquet<\/a>\u2018 received an\u00a0Award of Excellence<\/em>\u00a0at the 2014 Exhibition, and\u00a0\u2018K9 Ronin\u2019<\/a>\u00a0received an\u00a0Award of Excellence<\/em>\u00a0at the 2015 Exhibition. In the Master Division:\u00a0\u2018Safety\u2019<\/a>\u00a0received a\u00a0Silver Award (2nd Place)<\/em>\u00a0at the 2017 Exhibition, and \u2018Let\u2019s Go!<\/a>\u2018 received the\u00a0Best in Show (Gold Award)<\/em>\u00a0at the 2018 Exhibition.<\/p>\n
