Commissioned for a fundraiser
by the local chapter of AAZK
(American Assn. of Zoo Keepers)

Jane Goodall signed the egg some time before Ann did the drawing on it. Sacramento Zoo keepers requested that Ann draw one of the Zoo's chimps on the egg.
