Lincoln Arts

Ann was a member of Lincoln Arts (in Lincoln, CA) for many years. She
volunteered as a tour assistant for the annual Feats of Clay ceramics exhibition for over ten years.

In 2000, she was commissioned to create the artwork for the Lincoln Clayfest
poster, seen below.

In 2001, Lincoln Arts produced a "Walking Tour of Lincoln" brochure and
asked Ann to create the drawings of historic Lincoln buildings for the brochure.

Ann participated in a number of Lincoln Arts' group shows, including
the "Art of Fly Fishing" shows held at Lincoln Arts in 2000, 2001 & 2003. She
created a number of pieces specifically for the fly fishing show: mixed media
drawings of fishing flies and a pen & ink drawing of a trout approaching a fly.
She demonstrated her pen & ink on scratchboard technique at the opening
receptions.

Clayfest

Artwork for 2000 Lincoln Clayfest Poster
In keeping with the theme of clay, Ann created this
mixed-media piece. Painted mainly in watercolor, she also used
color pencil and pen & ink. The large terra cotta pot shows the
mottled appearance achieved by using salt with the watercolor.

The original has been sold, but prints and notecards
are available. Click here to visit Ann's Store.
